Ultraviolet Detection
Press the UV button and shine the UV light on the UV markings. They will glow if the banknote is authentic. The UV mark locations for GBP, EURO and USD are shown below.
Magnetic Detection
Press the MG button and make sure the red light illuminates then rub the MG sensor over the metallic thread or magnetic ink. The D10 will emit a ‘beep’ sound if the banknote is authentic. The magnetic areas for GBP, EURO and USD are shown below.
Remove the clear plastic insert before operating the D10
